Places I Wish I Had Time To Relax In
I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago before we had deluges of rain, my day job got crazy, and I wasn't trying to get ready for my June open house. This is my backyard and while there is always lots to work on I love it and the spots we have created for relaxation.
The great chairs my Dad made years ago and they are at just the right stage of shabbiness, the hammock our kids gave us for our anniversary and I have had many a great nap in it; and the lounger is a '60s version I picked up for a song at a garage sale and had new cushions made for it with outdoor fabric. Again a good napping area.
I hope to get new shots from my antiques up soon. Enjoy the sun!

Well, if I can't spend time in Paris -- can I come swing in your hammack.

Oh, can I come and join you. I love all the spaces you have made for relaxation. The chairs your dad made are awesome. Hopefully soon you will be lounging on the chaise.

I love the chairs your Dad made~ what are you looking at while you sit in them?
I think I have to vote for the Adirondack chairs. I love those, they feel so good on my back when I'm tired!

Kath - Your yard is AWESOME and I love that metal lounge chair. I gave mine away a few years ago and now I wish I would've kept them. Yours has inspired me. I may have to steal mine back!
Yummy photos, I will bring the iced tea and a fresh fruit salad. :) I do not think I would get much work done with those very inviting repose areas anywhere within my sight.
Thank you for sharing.
