The Summer Open House

So the summer is flying by. We have been lucky here in our little corner of Wisconsin that we have not had all of the extreme weather that others have been plagued by. The gardens are looking lush and beautiful and we have been able to do lots of grilling.

I finally had another open house last weekend. It was good to see old and new faces. Hope you enjoy the pictures. I am also finally putting one in of our "empty nesting" child. Her name is Samantha and she is around 2 we think. We got her from the Iowa County Humane Society. http://www.ichs.net/ . They are a great group and have wonderful and well taken care of animals. They really work to match you up with the right pet for you.

Miss Sammy has given us a new focus and is a much loved new member of the family.

I will try to post more soon. If any of you ever want to purchase anything you see here just email me or check my new web site. I am just starting to work on it.

Thank you soooo much for the kind words on our blog! You should really pull some folks together to do similar shows in your neck of the woods. It's SOOOO much fun! The planning and preparation may kill you, but the end result is very rewarding. Keep us updated on what you decide!

Awwwwwww, Sammy is a CUTIE! I'm dying to get a dog but Hubby says I'm not "mature" enough yet. I puppy in my neighborhood has adopted me so I do get puppy kisses once in a while!

Kathy,
Wow, you have some nice things. I do like that pink flamingo! Sam is one lucky girl to move in with you. She looks so sweet and shepards are so smart. She will make a really nice pet.

Hi kath,
I spotted quite a few trearuses, the milk glass and the pink flamingo caught my eye. But the real star of the show is Miss Sammie. She is a cutie. Congratulations on the adoption. :o)

Hi Kath, First of all thank you for visiting my blog, I’m still new at this blog thing and trying to get the hang of it! I have to agree the Towel Cakes are really cute and I hope they will do well, time will tell.
I wish I lived close so I had been able to visit your open house, looks like you have a whole bunch of goodies.
Samantha is so cute and what a great way to find a new family member. We do not have any dogs but we have two cat girls which are the Queens of the house!
Hope you have a great week and good luck with your new website.
